Fear The Black Horse

The hiatus I had from writing is finally over; I have been busy these past few months, I actually still am. I just have to write about something very important…FEAR.

Nelson Mandela once said, “Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate, our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.” True to most, I would like to rephrase it for this post–MY deepest fear is not that HE is inadequate, MY deepest fear is that HE MIGHT BECOME powerful beyond measure…AGAIN. The Sheep who became The Shepherd

Pres. Corazon Aquino was the Philippines’ ray of light amidst the darkness of corruption, deceit and violence; and today, she once again IS. At least, after a long while, people of different principles, ideals and tradition come together as Filipinos.

My eyes were wet, while watching Cory’s burial, not because I was grieving for the country’s loss but because of joy. They converge and munch on the crumbs of what was a reputable-soon-to-be-super-power country. What, if not for their blind ambitions, will they offer the Philippines? Continue reading
